Phi Psi Nu Fraternity, Inc. (The Moors) was founded on March 27, 1991, when 16 men came together at 46th and Browne Streets in Omaha, Nebraska, and decided that it had come time to make the organization phi Psi Nu a legitimate organization. The 16 brothers that met in the chambers on March 27, 1991 decided that Phi Psi Nu would have:
Purpose
To promote a stronger and healthier Afro-centric culture
Two Missions
To fight on the front lines of the war on racism and discrimination
To reconnect the so-called African-American with his native Afro-centric culture and heritage.
Strategy
To do whatever it takes to accomplish our purpose and mission.
